The Sid Hillman Quartet Plays Live on KCRW’s Morning Becomes Eclectic

Los Angeles, CA (June 24,1999) – On Monday, June 28, 1999, 11:15 a.m., The Sid Hillman Quartet will be the in-studio guests on KCRW’s “Morning Becomes Eclectic” hosted by Nic Harcourt.  The band will be interviewed and perform approximately 30 minutes of music from their forthcoming LP due for independent release July 23rd on vinyl and cd.

That same night, The Sid Hillman Quartet will be performing a free show at Fais-Do-Do at 8:30 p.m.

The Sid Hillman Quartet is an alternative-country Los Angeles-based band, who has been playing and recording for the past 8 years.  Over the last 3 months, they have been getting regular air-play on KCRW’s “Morning Becomes Eclectic,” a radio show dedicated to cutting-edge, truly alternative music.

KCRW airs in Los Angeles at 89.9 FM, Palm Springs at 89.3 FM, Ventura & Santa Barbara at 89.1 FM, Antelope Valley at 88.1 FM, Ridgecrest at 107.1 FM, Santa Paula-Moorpark at 102.3 FM, Ojai at 102.1 FM, Banning & Yucca Valley at 90.9 FM.
